Having been addicted to Norway's Anna of the North from the very beginning, we've been waiting six months for new material but with new single 'Baby' she's proved it was all worth the wait. Dissecting with the modern emotions of waiting for a perhaps casual lover to get back in touch, Anna shows she is capable of mixing real emotion into her electronic soundscapes as she captures both the agony and the ecstasy. The darker synth tones are what strikes the right painful chord, creating a dark soundtrack to a despairing time. It's not all doom and gloom though as Anna's vocals are a joy to hear. - SJ
